Project Head — Dairy-Based Carbon Credits | India Methane Mission
About This Role
India's 300+ million cattle and buffalo represent one of the world's largest livestock methane opportunities. At Verdant Impact, we're building dairy-based carbon credit infrastructure that rewards smallholder farmers for climate-smart practices — and we're looking for the person to lead it.
What You'll Do
- Conceptualisation and design of dairy cattle methane reduction projects
- Complete project documentation, MRV, and reporting
- Listing and registration management on the Verra platform
- Coordination with validation/verification bodies, field teams, and partners
Must-Have Experience
- Hands-on experience with the Verra platform (project listing, documentation, registration process)
- Prior work on a dairy/cattle-based methane reduction project — this is non-negotiable
- Strong command of carbon methodologies, MRV frameworks, and project cycles
