I have noticed a sudden drop in milk yield in two of my HF cows over the past 3 days. They also seem slightly lethargic. No fever though. Has anyone experienced this before?

Check for subclinical mastitis, Ramesh. Even without a fever, mild infections can cause a drop. A California Mastitis Test (CMT) is very cheap and can give you an immediate answer.

I agree with Suresh. Also, ensure there hasn't been a sudden change in their feed or water source. Heat stress can also reduce yield, though the weather is mild currently. Please monitor their rumen fill.

What is the recommended vaccination schedule for FMD and Brucellosis for calves? I want to ensure my new herd is fully protected.

For FMD, the first dose is at 4 months, then a booster after 1 month, followed by every 6 months. Brucellosis is a single lifetime dose given only to female calves between 4 to 8 months of age.
