My cattle are refusing to eat the dry straw mix lately. I suspect it's due to the heat. How can I make the feed more palatable during these dry months?

Sprinkle some dilute jaggery (gud) water over the dry straw. It makes it sweeter and they will eat it right up. Also, adding a little bit of salt block near their water helps them drink more.
